Visited this "church" as part of a shore excursion while on a cruise, and while I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to see it, it was still a nice stop with plenty of nice scenery around. 30 minutes is all that is needed...More

At the end of a circular walk taking in the sights of Skagen. Interesting feature to see the tower believing that the rest of the church is buried in the sand

The church is not a great attraction or anything, but it does have an interesting story to share and is a great example of the power of nature.

Visiting this church when in the neighborhood is a must. Even when only the tower is left. Very interesting history. They even removed the graves.

Walked to the church from the hostel I was staying at in the evening. It was was really nice- didn't go to the top (wasn't that expensive but didn't bring my wallet).

This place is definently worth a visit. The remains of the church is Amazing to watch. The nature is very nice for a walk.

The church has a fascinating history and is located in a beautiful place which can be easily reached from the town centre. There are different marked hiking trails in the area which I highly recommend.

I have never seen anything like this church, where most of the church is covered in sand! You can also enter the church if you're there.

Actually, the church is not buried but the bottom of the tower is. The church was regularly being inundated with sans and the villages gave up in the 18th Century and the nave was demolished in about 1795 after the church was closed. So all...More

It's not a long walk to see the church, which wasn't open to go in when we were there, but opens periodically apparently. Walk is pretty easy, some slight hills. There are other trails to follow and they look nice but we didn't bother walking...More

Depending on where your ship is. You cannot walk from Skagen harbor to the church in 1 hour. Same thing for the Grenen where the oceans meet. But both have lovely works.
