We were taken to visit this site with a good guide who explained the importance of the area to the production of sugar cane and rum in Cuba.

A spot with lots of history but quite touristic. The numerous stands selling embroidery and dolls are there for a reason. But all in all, nice scenery.

We took a taxi from Trinidad to Santa Clara and visited the valley on the way, stopping to climb the tower and enjoy the beautiful views from the viewpoints. It was very interesting to see this different side of Trinidad.
