the Glenn Highway runs from Wasilla to Glennellen and is vey scenic. Be sure to stop at Matanuska State Park. there is a nice scenic walk that overlooks the Glacier. there are viewing platforms.!

A great drive (whichever way you do it!). Spend time looking for moose by the side of the road - and don't forget the numerous glaciers on the way!
