Rocket launch

Went to watch a NASA launch. Perfect place to watch an atlas launch. Can get really close for a great view.

First the entrance booth should warn you that parking area 13 is a nude beach, gross! Old nasty wrinkled seniors everywhere; families beware!

I have been to Playa Linda several times in the past few years. I was not aware there was a "Clothing Optional" area and am glad I did not reach it with my family. Playa Linda is the perfect place to sit back, read a book, tan, or just take in natures beauty. It one of our family's favorite relaxation... More

The entire Canaveral National Seashore is a beautiful, glorious place! Unfortunately, most visitors tend to make their way here due to the clothing optional beach. This place has so much more to offer than that! The clothing optional beach is very, very nice. But keep in mind that nudity there is in the gray area between legal, illegal, and tolerated.... More

Nice place - we had bad luck with the weather but nevertheless worth the visit and we enjoyed picknicking there.

This beach is gorgeous-no hotels, condos, vendors, blasting music, or cars on the beach. There's no water so bring your own. There are toilets at the parking area. Playa Linda is accessed by the last two parking areas - 12 & 13 - and is a clothing optional beach. The times I've been there, all but one individual has respected... More

We were hoping to spend some time on an ocean beach sunning au natural. We found it! This is a national seashore: no local sheriffs, no hassle, no worries. The park rangers drive by on atv's once in a while without bothering the nudes, so long as you're not being lewd. They will stop and chat if you flag them... More

We greatly enjoyed Playalinda with our son, daughter in-law, and two and a half year old grandson. The beach is clean and free of commercial activity. It was a gorgeous and warm day, but the beach was sparsely populated. The sandy shore, while more sloped than the Gulf side, provided hours of fun making castles and collecting shells. The waves... Ready to get away from all of the crowded beaches? This is the place to visit. Being part of the park system, there is small entry fee. Other than that, the beaches are clean and were virtually deserted. Bathroom facilities available along with soda machines so pack a lunch if you're staying all day. Go ahead and give them a... We went here because of a suggestion from a friend and we had a blast... once we got where we were going :) He failed to tell us the end of the road was a "clothing optional" beach. As we were getting ready to head over the hill to the beach with our kids, someone was kind enough to let... More
