Beautiful Water and Sand

It truly is the "Emerald Coast" because the water shimmers in a beautiful blue green color... the sand is white and fine. We've been coming down here for years and the beaches and water this year are better than ever. My only advise is to stay away from the "older" spring breakers... they can get loud and unruly sometimes so... More

We just spent a week on beautiful Okaloosa Island and spend 4 days at Orange Beach in May. We have also stayed in Destin. Loved all 3 spots. Destin is the most commercial of the 3. Orange Beach and Okaloosa are much quieter but we would definitely return to any of them.

Overall the emerald coast is ok. Not sure why people come here in the summer though. You could go to Sarasota or Naples and stay for half the price since down south tourist season is in the winter. Also, down on the west coast of Florida, the beaches are nicer. Yes, I said it. The sand is like white powder,... More

The beach is fantastic! It's so beautiful and nice! We come late in the summer and there's hardly anybody here! The sand is white and the water is very clear!!

We spent a week on Pensacola Beach and the highlight for our 7 and 8 year old boys was, by far, fishing with Captain Tony! He was personable, professional and made it a priority to ensure the boys had a great time. His boat was clean, well equipped and relaxing for this mom who was able to just sit back... More

My husband and I spent a day fishing with Captain Tony Eddins in October. We were impressed with his knowledge of not only the species we were fishing for, but the habitat in general. This man knows how to catch fish and has a variety of tricks up his sleeve if the initial plan isn't working (unlike some others we... More

An absolutely beautiful beach with "sugar white" beaches and water that looks truly like emeralds. There are activities for all ages and we will continue to go here forever.
