When my traveling partner said we had to stop and see a bridge, I was like "really?" We had crossed the Mackinac Bridge and that was impressive, how could a significantly smaller bridge be a big deal? Well, it is! Driving over the bridge you would not know it was a big deal. Just seems like an ordinary bridge, but... More

Stopping to see a bridge sounds strange, but this is worth the time. Both for the bridge structure itself and the surrounding trees etc. We were heading to the UP and stopped by the park after crossing the bridge. We walked back across the bridge, crossed underneath, looked around and then walked back on the lake side, crossing under the... More

This is an incredible place! We stopped on Monday thanks to a tip from one of the workers at the Visitor's Center. Trees are in full color and it is a breath taking from the top as it is from the bottom looking up!

This is well worth a stop. The views from both sides of this bridge are just stunning. We got to see the colour change of leaves on one side and a beautiful view of the lake on the other. I would recommend anyone go see this. You can walk beneath the bridge and get a good view of the underneath... More

Definitely an amazing view. Randomly ran across this and took the hike down the stairs (ALOT of stairs) and walked the trail under the bridge along a nice little creek.

Visited the Cut River Bridge last weekend, after a 25 year absence. Was thrilled to finally be able to get to the bottom, via the stairs, and get out to the beach!

We stopped here with our three dogs to get out and walk a little. There is a stairway that goes under the bridge and also out to Lake Michigan. We have an older dog so we didn't want to take the stairs. There is a trail to the north of the stairs that we took that was much easier. Beautiful... More

I have been over this bridge a few times, but I had NO idea what I was missing. From the road, you see a long bridge with concrete walls. That's it. We decided we would walk across it this year and were we glad we did. From the top, the view is nice, and you realize quickly the Cut River... More

This is a great place to stop and take a look at a very high arched bridge. It is a few miles west of st ignace on us2. You can walk on the bridge and see Lake Michigan and the cut river below. You can then walk down the steps beside the bridge and hike along the river back to... More

The bridge is barely visible from the stairs going down to the lake and once at the beach, you still can't see it. Trees have grown up around it and need to be cut. It's a beautiful place that I remember from my childhood and I took my granddaughter to have the experience. We also stood on the bridge and... More
