We camp twice a year on the banks of the river near the Belltown Bridge. The water is calm in most places, shallow enough to stand much of the time, and clear enough to feel good about being in the water. Campsites are abundant, outfitters easy to find, and the beauty of the river valley is breathtaking.

The river is crystal clear, peaceful and quiet, even in the middle of summer. Great for kayaking, tubing and just relaxing. Not the best for fishing, but besides that, it is wonderful!
