You can tell why the Wyeth family and associated artists found this valley and its lovely natural features inspirational. I kept finding myself compelled to step outside the indoor galleries of the museum to stare at the river outside, gently but persistently flowing toward the museum windows, then past them. Would be a great place to come to mull over... More

Went cider tasting here in the Spring which was a hoot and a half. It seemed like Fall and was cold and bleak, but the people we met were warm and the cider was wonderful.

Saw "only if you live close" review and just smiled. Most of what is listed in the Brandywine Valley travel guides is just off main roads, but we locals love it because many tourists do the touristy thing and never venture just a mile off the mainstream, in any direction, where mile after mile of bucolic rolling hills allow beautiful... More

I was disappointed and don't see myself returning anytime soon. Brandywine is advertised as a beautiful Valley out in the country away from the hussle and bussle, when in reality that is not the case so much. I was expecting to be away from "society" surrounded by thick woods, parks, bike trails, camping areas and lots of outdoor recreation...not so... More
