Great things to do on base!

If you rv, campground is great. Very good museums on base. Must see old ft. Bliss 'replica'. It's an open air interactive 1880's complex. Army doesn't call it a museum anymore... read more

This post is large with services spread out over several miles. The Welcome Center doesn't provide an effective map to help newcomers find their way around. Plus, the gate hours are inconvenient. What's the point of having gate guards anyway if anyone can get in with a driver's license?! Freedom Crossing offers too little to make it worth anyone's time.... More

Very large army post. Biggs field park was really fun. Whole family had a great time there. Visited the museum there also.

The base is huge and was very nice. We went to visit my brother before he shipped out. It is a city whithin a city!!! Mountain view was beautiful. Had such a nice breeze. It was nice to sit outside and watch the fireworks with a breeze blowing and not being sticky and sweaty.
