I started my ride from just outside of Sequim, close to the Sequim Bay State Park. My plan was to ride to Port Angeles and back, approximately 54 miles. As I entered the town of Sequim from the east I lost the trail markers as I approached Carrie Blake Park. I made my way through the the park asking directions... More

We just cycled a few hours on the trial from Port Angeles. A nice break from all the hiking we have done around Olympic NP. It's a great way to cover a bit more ground. We really enjoyed the combination of biking along the coast and seeing the mountains on the other side. We rented bikes from Sound Bikes and... More

Paved trail in excellent condition. Got on in Sequim near Walmart/Quality Inn and went 17 miles toward Port Angeles. First 10 to 12 miles (approx) was fairly flat along pastures and beautiful forestry. After that got quite hilly and had to walk up a few hills but not bad, except we got a late start and it was getting dark... More

A new 5-mile paved section of the Olympic Discovery trail is just 30 miles west of Port Angeles, Washington. The trailhead is a few hundred yards south of Hwy 101 at milepost 112. Suitable for bike riders of all ages and abilities. Take along water, for there are no commercial facilities within miles, but there are pit toilets at the... More

Just cycled this amazing trail with my 4 girlfriends, 53-60 yrs of age, and loved it. We started our adventure in Swartz Bay after taking the ferry over from Tswwassen/Vancouver. Cycled "the Lochside Trail" a very easy flat trail into Victoria. 2 1/2 hrs, stopping at Maddocks Farm for lunch 1 hr in. Caught the Coho Ferry from the inner... More

Cycled the 30K into Sequim from the Coho ferry dock to the Lavender Festival and we were so excited to have found this beautiful, diverse route. There is construction/reconfiguring near the beginning of the trail which is easily manoeuvered then easily followed to our destination over an old railway bed. There are a few (one in particular!) steep hills where... More

This past weekend friends and I took a ride on the Adventure Trail starting at the entry from Hwy 112 for the first time. It is just past the bridge over the Elwha River. The section we did was mostly single track with a lot of switchbacks. The trail is well maintained and even with overcast sky's we had some... More
