The Vietnam Veterans memorial is possibly the simplest designed memorial. The names of the Vietnam soldiers grace the wall.

Beautiful memorial to some of our nations fallen heroes. The grounds were well taken care of & clean. Would have liked to have seen a park ranger presence to answer any questions.

Still one of the best memorials ever done. Always a must see, and always meet people with great stories, and see cool things. Good to see them honored properly.

A 91 yr old vet friend would like me to be his escort on an honor flight. I am an 80 yr old woman ( not a vet). What would be the requirements for me to do this?

I think your vet friend needs to fill out an application at the honor flight website. I believe the guardians/escorts are volunteers or staff members of honor flight and anyone accompanying the veteran would have to pay for... More
