Make a splash in our Nation’s Capital aboard the DC Ducks, 1942 amphibious transport vehicles used to support and carry troops during World War II. Today they are a great way to see Washington by both land and sea. Winding our way first through the monuments, the Mall, the Capitol and museums of the Smithsonian before splashing into the Potomac and under the flight path at Reagan National Airport. Its fun for all ages!

Great tour, and Captain Steve was a great host and guide. Not your boring information-only tour. humorous and perhaps a bit silly at times. Fun for kids as well. some interesting tidbits about the city, and just a great dynamic between the boat-and-truck combo.

My family and I were so looking forward to this tour on Saturday based on prior reviews but needless to say it was extremely disappointing. First, the 90 minute tour (as advertised) was just over an hour. Captain Bob’s narration lacked any real detail... “there’s...More

It is an intersting experience to on road and water at same time. THe guide esplained that the boat-car is over 70 years old and still earning money by giving fun experience to people. I think it is Amazing.

It was fun and educational. Great way to spend the afternoon. You are on land and then in the water. You can see the planes flying overhead. The tour guide is funny and gives you lots of information.

Not overly expensive and rather relaxing. A nice way to get information on the city. You even get a boat ride!!

Every time I see Duck Boats, I have to get on board and check out the tour, so when I saw DC Ducks just outside of Union Station, I was all in. The tour was not hilarious, as it can be in some locations, upon...More

We did one of these in Boston some five years ago and it worked well but here in DC it did not. Why? Well the time you spend on water is poor. you go into a marina near the Pentagon and come out near Reagan...More

I have not done the Monuments Tour, but I do know that we viewed the few monuments from an angle that you can't see from a car or by foot. The Ducks tour was by far the most fun and enjoyable tour I think I have ever taken... More

The steps are re a little steep but they are closely spaced. There are handrails you can hold onto and the boat captain will help you get on board. I have difficulty climbing steps also and it was pretty easy. There is no... More
