This old post office building, now a Trump Hotel, has a clock tower, from where you can enjoy a nice view on Washington DC. The entrance is free.

The best free activity in DC! No line and as it is owned by the Park Service we had a very knowledgeable Park Ranger guide. The trip up the elevators over the atrium in Trump Tower was beautiful but the view from the clock tower...More

I wouldn't visit again. It used to be an actual post office, the architecture is really cool and the views are great. It used to have an open lobby, no frills, with little shops and cafes, now a monstrosity of a lobby inside a D.C....More

I love this view of the city better than the Washington Monument. A hidden gem. I won't go again now that it's Trump Hotel. Sad to see this privatized.

The old post office is now a hotel but the tower is still under control of the park service and is open to the public for viewing. It is a good spot to get a free panoramic view of D.C.

Visit the hotel and take in the beauty of the surroundings. Then, go up into the tower and see Washington from a new vantage point. It's excellent..!!

Location is in the TRUMP hotel but don't use the hotel entrance. The tower is signposted on the small pedestrian direction signs on most streets around the Federal Triangle area. Entry is directly opposite the Federal Triangle Metro station just down the side of Starbucks...More

We were there last April and it was closed at the time and are not certain as to whether the renovations have been completed. It looked like a very extensive renovation so I wouldn't be surprised if it hasn't opened yet... More
