Here for a Saturday night symphony. Hall was very impressive and the acoustics seemed very good. Lobby area was nice and concessions were good too. Parking was easy in and out. Only negatives the Restrooms in the pre-hall lobby. They were unavailable to the public...More

After living in DC for nearly two decades and visiting the Kennedy Center many times, we finally saw the National Symphony Orchestra. Acoustics are fantastic. We sat in the orchestra seats a few rows from the front, slightly to the left. I'd recommend at least...More

We love visiting DC when the American Ballet Theatre is performing at the Kennedy Center. We splurged and visited on Thursday and Friday nights. Just exceptional. Loved every moment. Sometimes it feels as if the center is beginning to show her age and I agree...More

I was appalled last night when we had to pay $23 to park for 3 hours. I understand real estate, generating revenue and overall business but this is a center for the arts. I paid $22 for valet at the Willard for night. For a...More

I went to the open rehearsal for the ballet at the Kennedy Center on Thursday. It’s such a beautiful location and the rich history of the center is worth exploring in more detail, so I’ll be back for the guided tour very soon! You must...More

You may be thinking of the Tivoli Theater on 14th street in Columbia Heights, at 3325 14 St NW, DC 20010. Mainly plays are held in it now, not movies

I think it is at Kennedy Center now (as someone else indicated). We saw it at Olney Theater in Olney, MD a few months ago as part of a joint Olney/Kennedy Center production.
