I can imagine that this is a perfect spot to visit in when it is cold outside. Beautiful plants. Doesn't take long to visit.

We enjoyed looking around at the beautiful flowers and trees. My favorite area was the desert section with a variety of large and small cacti. We also saw cocoa beans on the tree as well as other exotic plants. Fun!

Very nice and organized garden. It’s small but very educational. A lot of interesting plants especially herbs. Nice place to hang out.

Although relatively small, the garden has a nice selection of plants from around the world. It doesn't take long to view the entire property and the areas are nicely done. Would be down the list of things to do while visiting the national mall.

I liked seeing all the areas of plant diversity and information on unique plants such as plant that are medicinal as well as those which are poisonous. They have lectures on plant topics but we did not have time to stay.

My daughter warned me this was not a big place, but we really enjoyed it. The Orchard exhibit was not open though and that was a little disappointing. Was happy with it.

I actually visit the USBG quite often for a stroll since the gardens are quite nice and peaceful. The most recent visit I had was to see the blooming of the Titan Arum giant corpse flower. It's not very large but it has many plants...More

If there is no line to get in, 1 1/2-2 hours is plenty.
