Beautiful views and very peaceful. It is great when the weather is good to have a picnic. The views of the monuments are great.

Great for walking and river views, so close to Mall and most memorials you will want to visit. Such a contrast to parks in major urban cities.

We walked a lot in DC and had a lovely walk around the park as part of taking in the sights. We could see the beauty of the cherry blossoms, but it must be gorgeous when they bloom. So many great photo opportunities of the city day and night and plenty of places to stop and sit and take a... More

The great park of Washington that includes the major national monuments, leads to the Mall and Congress and of course has the cherry blossom for a short time each year. When living in Washington I take a daily walk from my place in Foggy Bottom through the park visiting one or other of the national monuments again and again but... More

Nice park area. Edge of the National Mall. Contains a few memorials (Jefferson, Mason, Roosevelt, and King). Also some baseball/softball fields there. Some parking areas here, too.

I like to come for a walk here. The view is great, across the potomac where you'll see when in summer many people doing water activities. Cherry blossom viewing is also a must here when in season. A nice respite from the busy mall.

The Potomac Park is make up of both the West Potomac Park and the East Potomac Park. My review here is my experience with the East Potomac Park. East Potomac Park is a section of Potomac Park in Washington, D.C., located south of the Jefferson Memorial and the 14th Street Bridge. Located between the Washington Channel and the Potomac River,... More

Nice park which should not be left out. unfortunately, I never made it for the cherry blossom season, but I can imagine how nice it must be.

This is a nice park along many beautiful memorials. It is a nice place to take pictures and exercise. There were a lot of people jogging and enjoying the beautiful weather. The river is nice and there's peaceful scenery everywhere.

We stopped here while in DC due to the great reviews and it's location on the Potomac. We enjoyed ourselves by watching airplanes come and go at Reagan National Airport. There are tables, grills, benches, bathrooms, and sidewalks to walk on that puts you two feet from the river. Note: BRING BUG SPRAY! I live in the Adirondack Mountains and... More
