My dad, who is retirement age, my teen, my tween and myself had the pleasure of taking the monuments tour with Tim. As an educator, I was thrilled to find a tour guide who was a former educator. Tim was not only informative, but also...More

My husband and I brought our grandson to Washington DC in 2011 and went on Tim's monument tour. We all loved it. Tim is so knowledgeable and fun! We were surprised to find he's still doing the tour. We just got back from our trip...More

I have been on walking tours before with some mixed results and I had some low expectations because the tour is "free." However, I was pleasantly surprised by the knowledge, skill and engagement provided by Tim. He is a great tour guide, just full of...More

Tim's Walk of the Town tour is a great way to see the most important sights on the national Mall. During the five or so hours, we heard countless interesting stories, explanations, histories (and myths) about the among others the White House, the Washington Monument,...More

I went on this tour with a group of friends this past weekend and we all agreed, this tour was a highlight of our trip. There's no way that we would have had the same experience just visiting the DC monuments on our own. We...More

Simply the BEST tour of Washington DC! You have to meet Tim and listien to his stories. He is very pleasant and passionate about his work. If we could we would have given him 6 or even 7 stars review.

Tim loves his job and it showed in his energy, enthusiasm and knowledge. He took the time at the beginning to get to know his clients and interacted with all of us, throughout the tour. His fav route was blocked, so he waited a bit...More

About the most entertaining tour I've ever taken. You'll remember Tim's enthusiasm and energy long after the tour has ended. (So don't make the mistake of taking other tours afterwards like I did. They won't compare well to your experience with Tim's.) Make sure to...More

I am interested in your tours, but need to know if they are wheelchair-accessible. I can walk, but not long distances, will have others with me to push my wheelchair.

This a fairly considerable walk and also lots of standing. The tour takes a minimum of 3 hours . If there is anyway you can do it it's highly recommended but I suggest a fold up chair/ stick
