I recently visited my nephew at the school. It was a beautiful spring day, and walking around campus was fun. I visited the very nice campus bookstore, and stopped for coffee next door. Parking is tight in this area. You can pay to park at...More

We took a walk around the campus and the surrounding areas as we were over in Georgetown. Its worth a visit and has lots of very nice streets and places to explore. The bus takes you directly there from downtown DC also.

I think this is the biggest university in DC and one of the biggest and famous in US. Have a lot of big old buildings in Georgetown area and a lot of modern buildings too.

We went to Georgetown with 2 of my teenage daughters and they loved the campus grounds. We attended an info session and had a campus tour which was very informative.

Well worth a stroll around the grounds, which boast some amazing buildings and features (bar the library, which is a hideous example of 'modern' architecture). Photo opportunities abound.

...and had the opportunity to walk through the campus from Volta St. to the Medical School. Charming buildings.. Not unlike many other campuses in the US, its overall atmosphere very conducive to learning..

Nice architectural design of the building. Green environment, nice walking areas. Very close to the Washington D.C City.

Bit of a walk up hill to get there but worth it, in my opinion. The grounds are lovely and well kept. Walk down the quaint streets of Georgetown to get to the busy M Street.

The architecture at GW is amazing. Simply amazing. I have walked around at night and during the day. I chose to walk at night to see the lights, and it was cooler. Some of the buildings are breathtaking. Lucky students!
