We took a private, 3-hour tour and it was quite good. A bike tour is definitely the preferred way to see the monument and memorials since you can cover a LOT of ground in a short amount of time -- re: no getting on and off a tour bus, or walking forever). At first, I worried the three hours would... More

This was a fun way to get orientated to DC. Despite a rainy morning, we got through all the main sights and Chris, our guide, gave us some excellent information all along the way. Recommended, absolutely.

I went on the Monuments and Memorials Sunset Bike Tour and loved it. This is a great way to see most of the monuments and memorials around the mall and the tidal basin, especially if want to get the most out of a limited amount of time. We hit the Jefferson Memorial right at sunset, which was a highlight of... More

I couldn't make my tour when the Snowstorm of the Century was bearing down on DC. I was afraid I wouldn't get a refund, but the manager was very nice and agreed to do it under the unusual circumstances. As a result, I will book this tour again next time I'm sightseeing in DC.

On an unusually warm February day we joined a Capital City bike tour of 8 adults plus a guide, who was a George Washington University student. It was the highlight of my trip. Per our guide, we covered about 8 miles. There were plenty of breaks and the terrain was relatively flat, so it felt easy. Our guide was very... More

We had a lot we wanted to see up and down National Mall, so to save on hours of walking up and down, we opted to rent bikes. The pay machines have clear, easy to follow instructions and we were able to release bikes quickly. D.C. is relatively flat for the most part, so barring a bit of effort going... More

We are locals and decided to take our guest to see the city. We've never tried an organized tour before. We just did it ourselves. The bike tour was absolutely a great way to see a lot and not use every ounce of energy. We even saw some new monuments and learned new and interesting things about DC. Ryan was... More

We were guided around central Washington DC by Chris, who was a History student at George Washington University - perfect! There was only the 2 of us on the tour so we were really lucky to get him to ourselves. He was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the city and its history, there was nothing he didn't know and and... More

Had a good attentive and patient guide. It was raining lightly but was still a fun afternoon out. Interesting stops along the way and stopped long enough for photos. A good way to cover ground quickly and to see a lot.
