We chose to celebrate our 24th wedding anniversary in DC by taking the Odyssey. For $300 we were "treated" to a table right next to the galley/waitstaff/hallway area where all of the noise is. It's also the place where people enter and exit so we...More

I was originally going to book via the Odyssey's website when I found there was a special running on Groupon. Since the value of the ticket on Groupon exceeded the ticket price for a guaranteed window seat directly through the website, I opted to book...More

This is not my first time on the Odyssey Cruises, and for good reason. It has a great environment, our server has always treated us as a welcomed guest. The food was very good as well, and the sights are very nice along the river.

The buffet quality was really poor. Lines were long and not something you would expect for a fancy buffet on a cruise. Bottomless mimosas were more of juice, as expected and the coffee was absolutely "terrible"- couldn't drink past the first sip. The ambiance is...More

I don't recall Odyssey specifying a tip policy. Given the outstanding service we received on our voyage, I would suggest a generous tip. That's assuming you enjoy similar service. By our choice, we tipped them well, felt it... More

I just looked at booking a cruise for my spouse, myself and teen daughter for tomorrow evening. For 3, well over $600.00. Can you explain to me what the fee of OVER $100.00 (an administrative fee) is all about. I am reading the reviews posted and there are many that are not complimentary...

I have no idea what the 'administrative fee' is all about. I don't recall what the total price we paid was, I can just tell you we thought it was worth it. The boat is lovely, perfectly designed for its purpose, offering... More
