While it certainly didn't compare with being inside the White House itself, the visitors center was very well done, and featured a number of exhibits, as well as a video presentation that was quite interesting. It's also a place to use the restroom before a...More

Wonderful exhibits about the White House and a beautifully done video featuring the voices and images of many past occupants. This is a beautifully planned Center offering excellent insights into the White House and life there. Highly recommended. It is free.

The White House visitor center has a lot of history and displays to check out. They also have a great gift shop with things you can't get anywhere else.

The White House Visitors center will give you a decent overview of the history of the President's home. There are a few artifacts from different presidencies in the visitor center.

We thought the this was a very interesting and informative visit and spent a couple of hours here. Nice to be able to see what goes on behind the scenes and to learn about some of the former Presidents and their wires.

Definitely NOT allowed to bring ANY food or drink inside. We had to pour out our water and toss any snacks that we had in our bags.
