Had not seen this memorial and really didn't know what to expect. It was an incredible site, the size and the quotes really make it a very beautiful place. The monument is enormous yet it feels great to be so close to someone like Dr....More

I really fell silent at this memorial. It captures his life and beliefs perfectly. There is a small gift shop and placed to sit in the shade.

Beautiful and moving tribute to an AMAZING individual. A very peaceful place offering space to reflect on his words and essence.

Truly enjoyed visiting this monument and reading the quotes of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. It is a must see. There isn't much signage in the area so it's easy to miss it but the waze app helped us out tremendously.

This is one of the few memorials in D.C. that I had not seen. It is beautiful and looks out over the water to the to the Jefferson Memorial. The quotes are meaningful and timely.

Martin Luther King my memorial is built in west Potomac park and it is nearer to National Mall. It is built in memory of Martin Luther King Jr who is activist and visible spokesperson and leader of civil rights movement.
