This place has a little bit of everything so bring an appetite. There are several food stalls, bars, and other artisan style shops for home type goods as well. While it can get busy the place still maintained or more laid back and casual atmosphere.

We chose to go a bit out of our way on this culinary outing. Not having a rental we took two Metra trains from Foggy Bottom to make it to the Northeast quadrant of the city. The final stop is about a 10-minute walk away...More

My husband and I were staying at the Hampton Inn NoMa, and we decided to walk down to the Union Market for a quick dinner. I immediately fell in love with this place. It does have a “hipster” vibe, but I certainly wouldn’t say it...More

If you have a mix of ages this is perfect as there are multiple food options from local vendors who really care about what they make. Be sure to take some cheese/wine/bread/soup/produce home too!

Quite a walk after new no mad metro station. Mobs of people. Foes not seem to have that much variety for a food hall. It does have some good local specialty-fried sea food.

Union Market is as yuppie as they come. Lots of interesting food stalls with pretty good food overall. Some other more artisan-y stores as well. There's something here that will satisfy almost every taste. Prices are a bit on the high side but not out...More

I loved this place! Broad choice of food from Venezuelans to Indian. Amazing flavors there are options for everyone in the family. We'll come back again for sure.

While in D.C., I went to Union Market with two friends. The market is enclosed and not exposed to the elements, which came in handy when a huge rain storm came whipping in across the Metro DC area, but also makes the market quite noisy...More

While visiting Washington DC stopped by Union Market. This place has lots of artisan food makers from smoked fish to ramen. We sampled from a few of the different stalls. I tried empanadas, smoked salmon salad, barbecue pork and brisket, bread and milkshakes made form...More

If you like ethnic food prepared by white hipster millenials than this place is great. If you like great food and can all agree on what to eat then you can find everything offered here from authentic restaurants nearby for less money. I'm not saying...More

The market is on a slight grade, but nothing strenuous. I usually walk over from the nearest Metro and have never noticed the grade, as it is so gradual.

It is like a farmers market. I would think though its more food vendors are here. There is a stall for produce, seafood, and meats, but you can 100 percent eat here.
