I was privileged to visit St. John's 9:00 service on Palm Sunday. The music was absolutely breathtaking. We enjoyed worshipping in the historic church. The congregation was friendly and welcoming. The church is beautiful and filled with history. A prayer for the President was delivered .

This is a small church across the park from the White House. It is pretty small and I didn't find it all that interesting. Overall, not really worth going out of the way to see.

If you find yourself in Lafayette Park take s walk across the street to this small unpretentious yellow church. Many Presidents have come here to find guidance and a little piece. It may work for you!

Small church, visited by many presidents. They had a noon music performance that I couldn't attend, but was there to listen to the musicians practicing. Be sure to view Lincoln's pew, located in the back right of the church.

This church is right in front of Lafayette park and then the white house. It is famous for being the church of several presidents. The interior is plain but filled with history.

When visiting DC we always stay at a hotel close to the White House, which means we are close to this little gem. Small, with no obvious bells and whistles, but worth a quick stop and peek inside. My favorite part, the plaque that identifies the pew where President Lincoln would sit for worship. A wonderful piece of history.

Not gonna lie, I love that this church is yellow! Most presidents have worshipped here at one point or another. It's very close to the White House, so definitely worth stopping by to see it on your way to or from the White House. Go inside to learn more!

It's a historical church where most presidents have attended because it is the one closest to the White House. Went there for Christmas Day service, which was sparsely attended. In contrast, the Washington Cathedral would be packed. Nice serene atmosphere here, except for one couple who decided their 1 or 2 year old should attend the service too. She was... More

Great intimate historical church with a wonderful staff. This is probably the most often missed great site in DC. Easy location and the only "reserved" pew markers are those for presidents
