This is an awesome underground place to watch jazz, and unique to other places in the neighborhood. It has that old time DC feeling. I'd recommend eating before arriving and just sipping on some wine or a cocktail during the show. The music was soulful...More

Really cool underground spot to catch some jazz. Ambiance and acoustics really great. You'll really enjoy if you go with modest expectations about food and service.

Granted, the room could use some fresh paint and fabreeze, but as for the music, it was absolutely stunning! Will definitely go back, see what else they offer.

What a terrific venue. Perfect size, good layout, making for an intimate experience. Tip - sit on the side opposite the drums and as close to the band as possible for great views of the artists in action. I recommend viewing the artist on YouTube...More
