The trail was largely well-marked though difficult to discern in several places. Cyclists counter-navigate the trail, but they can still surprise you, so be prepared. The trail is marked “hard”, but that’s for cyclists - although narrow it’s not much of a challenge for walkers....More

The Kettle Moraine, both the north and south units, is such a gem. Highly accessible from highly urbanized Milwaukee. Instantly retreat into the wonders of glacial/post-glacial Wisconsin. Very interesting geology. Beautiful scenery with rolling hills and gentle valleys. Beautiful trees that are stunning in fall....More

We went with the purpose of walking the trails as a family. You can choose between an under hour pass for $5, an all day pass for $8, or a membership for $28. The park is conveniently located off highway 94, exit 285 Delafield. Park...More

Really enjoyed camping here. We have made it an annual thing. Some of the best hikes we have enjoyed were Summit Trail on the north unit (you'll have to go through the upper-900s campground to get to the trailhead) and Suppernong Trail on the southern...More

Sweet hiking. A bit of up and down but not strenuous. A lot of different trees. Trails are very open. Didn't see a lot of wildlife on this trip--nor a lot of people too. Check it out.
