We visited this serene picturesque area along the St Croix river on the border between Minneapolis and Wisconsin in the summer of 2014. There is a small fee for visiting the National Park but you can purchase an annual pass is you like. There are...More

Took in the St. Croix River Visitor Center which has a 15-20 minute film on the river and habitat. Numerous displays - hands on and very informative. Didn't realize their were 40 different kinds of mussels here.
