My parents took me here when I was little so it had been since the 80's I had visited. My girlfriend had never been before. This place is fun, fascinating and if your not careful you might learn something. The displays are very tastefully done. We loved the cave environment (very well done) and the African plains environment. Also we... More

While visiting the Berman museum next door, we purchased the combo ticket to the Natural History museum. There were many different areas with lots to see. An extremely varied collection. There's a mummy! In Anniston Alabama!

This clean, easily accessible, museum has a steady exhibit with loads of animals, ranging from Prehistoric, to the African Safari and Egyptian Mummy's. It also offers an ever changing special exhibit and interactive classes as well. The grounds outside the Museum building contain a Birds of Prey trail, walking trails, picnic and play areas. There is no cost for the... More

Great museum and a very reasonable admission price especially when combined with the Berman History Museum. Lots to see! Worth a trip.

We live north of Atlanta and are always looking for interesting new places to take the kids. This museum is only two hours away, so we went to try it out, and were so pleasantly surprised at the quality! Very educational exhibits about animals and other topics, and the kids really enjoyed it.

Living nearby, I have been there 15-20 times. There are hiking trails, an outside bird sanctuary, outside and inside botanical gardens (fantastic in the Spring and Summer), a nice duck/turtle pond with picnic area, next to the very interesting Berman Museum of World History, not to mention the well laid out Museum of Natural History. The exhibits are wonderful and... More
