We stumbled upon this State Park. Beautiful park with restrooms and nice walking paths. We enjoyed it so much the first time we chose to go back again while on vacation in Phoenix.

Have hiked in these mountains many times. One year our family took our Thanksgiving dinner to the park and then after the meal went for a hike. Great experience. I had a hiking club at one time took my group there different times for hikes.

This is a beautiful park, with great trails to hike. The entrance fee is very inexpensive, and there are trails that range in difficulty. The kids loved the hiking, and we spent several hours exploring. This is a great full or half day activity.

I used to really love this park, the dry camping loop is the best, but the last three years it’s been full all the time, and management seems to be very very uncaring, we phoned one hour before we arrived to make sure there was...More

On a mild Sunday afternoon in November, my partner and I drove the 20 miles or so out of Tempe to the Lost Dutchman State Park. It cost $7 for the car, for which we got a map and some good ranger advice. We chose...More

Try all the trails to enjoy the scenery of the sonoran desert. Well maintained trails with rest stop benches along the way. Cabins for rent next to the foot of the superstition mountain.

We took our fifth wheel- first time out to Lost Dutchman state park. Such an easy park. The full hookup sites are great. Just make sure you reserve them early. We wanted to stay one more night so we did a dry spot. It was...More

Nice hiking trails pretty well marked. Large parking lot and shelters. Bring water, some trails are rocky. Treasure Loop was pretty green with the recent rains, very scenic. Walking sticks are helpful tools in some spots.
