Took the 2 hour Apache Trail Tour. I thought it would have been a little more off-road than on-road considering that they tell you to wear closed-toe shoes. It basically was just a drive up the Apache Trail at 50mph the entire way. We could have done that ourselves with the windows down in our own car. There was about... More

We take all reviews very seriously and regret that you were disappointed. The tour description reads “Join us for a smooth and scenic guided tour of the Apache Trail! Wind alongside Canyon Lake, pass through Tortilla Flat then leave the pavement to get to the top of Fish Creek Hill for a nature walk”. We believe this clearly states the... More

We are not hikers so for us this was a great way to see the Sonoran desert up close. Our guide Billy was very knowledgeable and shared many personal experiences and stories which we enjoyed. It was a very hot afternoon in the 90's so sunscreen is a must and Billy had a cooler full of ice cold water bottles... More

The rains brought a beautiful wildflower season to the desert. So glad you were able to experience it since it doesn't happen every year. Hope you can join us again on one of our other tours. More

Bill was a great tour guide. He added personal story to the natural beauty of the desert that is all green this time of year. There is a lot of cowboy and mining history in this area. Water was provided by the tour company and care along with safety were provided by Bill. Wonderful experience.

My husband and I had already hiked through the desert on our own so it was great to be able to ask alot of questions of our guide. He was very knowledgeable. The jeep was really a truck with a jeep -like seat on the bed, but it was still fun. We took the 1.5 hour tour and it flew... More

This tour presented by FRANK was more than a ride around an old mining camp. Botanical treats were pointed out with the historical use by the first nations people as well as the botanical threats presented with some humor so avoid the Ocotillo. The history of the area through several generations was presented with some humor and FRANK'S costume was... More

This was a must do experience for all. We had the energy that comes for an off-road Jeep experience, as well as a wealth of knowledge about the area and specifically the Superstition Mountains. Our guide, Glenn, was awesome. He knew so much about the area, the Superstition, and gold mining. It was awesome. Highly recommended!

Took the 1 hour tour only because of time constraints and it was fabulous. Fast Eddie was an excellent tour guide. Very knowledgeable with a great personality. I highly recommend this tour and I would suggest taking the 2 tour if at all possible.

I highly recommend this tour! Our guide was passionate about the mining and native history of the area so the tour was filled with interesting stories. He also stopped whenever asked to ensure we got plenty of great photos. They also provide refreshments during the tour which was a nice surprise.
