Wine tasting day.

This was our first stop of the day in Arkansas Wine Country. We sampled several and found some new favorites.

We've visited numerous Arkansas wineries and have a favorite in Eureka and now a favorite in Altus. Mount Bethel has the most deliciously tasting, smooth wines I've tasted! These wines are amazing! You MUST try the Mount Bethel Port! The postings are generous and you won't be disappointed in the flavor! So glad we stopped & bought 5 of your... More

This was our 3rd stop of wineries in Altus - Mount Bethel Winery and our favorite. Did not get her name but is a family member and gave us lots of history and information on their winery and the area. Enjoyed the 3 free wine tastings. Enjoyable visit and a nice pleasant location!!

If you enjoy wine, you will be back. Interesting family owned winery, with courteous staff, have never meant a stranger here. Very generous with time, answers, knowledge and history of not only the winery but the area also. Enjoyed the tasting and the selection.

My family and I went to the Altus Grape Festival, and then did all the wine tours in the local area. And Mount Bethel Winery was one of them. They have a small wine tour but very informative. They also have very sweet horses and you can pet them and look around.

This is my kind of winery. Family owned and operated. They have a large selection of fruit wine, including pear, raspberry, and elderberry. I really enjoyed our "host." She was very helpful, let us taste just about anything, and told us a number of stories about the history of the winery and the area. I think we stayed at Mt.... More

Very small family owned winery which specializes in various fruit wines. If you're in the area, it's a must see just to see the winery which is pretty much underground!

We really enjoy this winery. 4th generation family owned. The tasting room is very unique. The wine is wonderful. Very reasonably priced. We bought 6 bottles. Try something different: the plum wine. The pourer surprised me with this one. Really very good. Not at all what I expected. Bought a bottle!!

First wine stop on our way into town and ended up buying a few bottles. No tour option that we saw but that was okay with us. The lady serving the wine did a very good job explaining what we were having and the wine itself was very good. We would stop in again if every in town again for... More

Wow! Stopped on the recommendation of the visitors center hostess and glad we did not miss this gem. The wines are excellent....some sweets for less serious wine drinkers and some very nice drier wines for those who have a bit of tasting under their belt. On top of that we picked up a wonderful wine vinegar that is delicious enough... More
