There are a good mix of great restaurants and retail. I wouldn't necessarily go here if I wasn't already staying at one of the local hotels or Disney resorts. What is great is that you can access it without being in one of the resort/parks - so the crowds aren't as crazy.

Took a break from the parks and spent sometime looking thought the shops in Downtown Disney. Without a doubt you can find just about anything you're looking for here. Many and varied restaurant, stores from a huge Disney store, Lego store, Build A Bear, and on and on. Great way to spend some time and slow down.

We had a spare day so hit Downtown Disney. From the build a bear to the Lego store, we had a blast with the grandkids. Got all our shopping done in the Disney store, and Starbucks hit the spot on more than one occasion.

There are plenty of shops and restaurants to temp your wallet (and stomach), but my favorite thing to do is simply walk around Downtown Disney at night and soak it all in. There is typically great Live Entertainment going on each night so be sure to take a moment and enjoy the music while having fun with your group.

Truly enjoyed walking through Downtown Disney. Plenty of food choices and shopping experience for all ages. The Disney Store is huge and you can get anything there.

I love Disney. And I have been to Disneyworld Orlando and Downtown Disney there with family. Downtown Disney in Orlando, while under construction is well done and has a better feel walking around than Downtown Disney Anaheim. However, we still had a great time visiting Downtown Disney Anaheim for lunch and a quick walk. Will return if I am able... More

Our hotel is just 10 minutes walk to downtown disney and we spend most of our nights in Anaheim there. We usually stay there till nightly fireworks show viewable from the Disneyland front gate which do not require park admission ticket. Downtown Disney is lively with street performance, shops and restaurants. Highly recommended if you are staying in the area.

Awe. I wish we could be there right now. My kids and I had an amazing time. The huge Disney store was a perfect one stop shop. My sons both loved building their own remote control cars. The Lego store was cool too. I recommend trying the rainforest cafe.

Has the feel of the park without the entrance fee. Walk around, spend money and eat! Buy a souvenirs of your visit. Not a bad place for a short visit and a good meal!

The place is right outside the park and walk-able from Disneyland Resort. You will find many souvenirs shops, restaurants and lots of music and entertainment. Don't forget to visit the unique Rainforest Cafe, Lego store and World of Disney if you are planning to bring back some gifts for the loved ones. I visited this place in October when the... More
