In a small space there is everything you might want to know about the history of Aptos. The stories here are not only fascinating but also well laid out so you can see the progression of events easily.

I probably didn't give it a chance but there was no staff. Just me in the museum. I walked around and saw what famous people came from the town and learned that ranching was a big deal in the area. Stopped at the tourist center...More

You gotta check this one out - lots of lore and stories about gangsters hiding out in the hills, before roads were so good. Several haunted houses and some ghostly tales. Uplifting story from early pioneers to modernest movement
