I like going down at Christmas time cause they set it up like olden days. Roasted chestnuts and vendors. But Old Town Auburn is a great place to walk around. There is even a store that sells candies from the old days.

Many shops to visit, good restaurants, some with bars and delicious craft brews. Auburn Ale House is the best, with many cold quaffs to choose from. Try a flight of beers there. Edelweiss is great for Breakfast.

A great place to visit and stroll the streets. Many artists exhibit their work in shops and galleries. There are a lot of places to eat, and live entertainment on the weekends in the bars.

Last time I was there (about a year ago) most shops were quiet by 5:00 pm on Saturday. Restaurants are about all that is going after that.
