Our guide was 'Bear' and AZ White Mountains Indian. He was very informative and knew his stuff! Exactly the right guy to lead a tour like this. At times it was a very narrow rough road but the hummer did it with ease. You will be hanging on a lot so don't plan on taking to many pictures whilst driving... More

This Hummer tour led by Charles was amazing. Despite the rain and a few clouds along the way we were able to experience the Island from a variety of perspectives. Our guide Charles knew the area well since he has lived here for eight years and was able to provide history and interesting anecdotes about the islands along with a... More

We did this tour and it was a highlight of our trip. Our guide was Cindy Lowe and she was really great. Lots of extra sites, quick stops to see flora and fauna and she even sang us some jazz tunes. Cindy was also very knowledgable, a good driver (which you will appreciate on some of the off-road downhills), she... More

4.5 hours on this tour that took you to areas you never thought you would experience. I was hanging on for dear life a few times. The Hummer takes you on very high and narrow passages that are not for the faint of heart. The scenery is outstanding and we saw bison and the famous Catalina Fox which will still... More

We took the tour with Bear, unfortunately the weather once we got out of Avalon never cleared up. It was completely fogged in for the majority of the trip, and rained at the top of the mountain. Although we were dressed for the bad weather, most on the trip were not. I overheard our guide speaking to another guide at... More

We took the Cape Canyon Tour during our recent visit to Catalina Island. Our tour guide was Cindy and she did a great job of maneuvering the huge 12 seater Hummer as well providing us with a large resource of information regarding the island and it's history. (not to mention the entertainment of humor and singing) We were fortunate to... More

Me, my cousin and my uncle went to this amazing tour. A HUGE KUDOS to Cindy Lowe, who was the tour guide yesterday, 2/28/16. She entertained us with songs, funny jokes, movie trivia and history of Catalina. She knows her stuff really well. We were able to see a group of American Bison up and close, a few species of... Came for the 4-hr excursion. Except for the scenery when you were at the top, and below, when you were on the sea shore, there's really not much to see except dry grass, few trees, some burnt area after a forest fire, saw one bison, and that's it. What is certainly thrilling is riding the rugged terrain, where you need... More

We had an amazing time. Great food at the airport. Charles was our driver and was very knowledgeable about our surroundings and the wildlife and plants. Saw a bald eagle up close and some of the best views ever. Highly recommended

A friend of mine recommended this tour and I'm glad I listened! The Hummer was actually much more comfortable than I thought it would be. The seats had good padding on them. We were on the middle row. If you sit on the outside seat, like I did, you will be over the tire and will have to keep your... More
