Decided to try this mountain on a trip to Colorado. Knew all three of the aspen mountain area ski lift tickets were WAY over priced. With the lack of snow and poor skiing conditions you would think this conglomerate would offer " specials ". NO...More

My grown daughter and I took lessons there and the staff couldn't have been better. They wisely divided us into appropriate groups, all beginners are not created equal, youngsters learn quicker, they were multiple beginner groups and they were regrouped as lesson progressed, some went...More

I enjoy skiing Buttermilk. It is a beautiful setting and on days where you don't want to push yourself too much, there is a really wide variety of green and blue terrain. It's a good confidence-building mountain. :)

I've been skiing for almost 40 years, but I'd never skied Aspen. Perhaps the intimidating Aspen and Aspen Highlands areas. But we were staying in nearby Glenwood Springs, and while its local Sunlight Resort is great, we were ready for a change of pace. And...More

It is smaller but has the X-Game parks. So you can be less aggressive or flat out x-treme. No waits to talk about on any lifts.

The best tracks for beginners, its very wide, so its easy to practice. Not very crowded and if take your time the slope can give you half hour of track, its for fun not super fast and dangerous like Ajax is.
