Located less than a mile out of Aspen, this course is in mint condition. The greens were rolling about 11 or 12 when i played it in September, and the holes are difficult but generally fair. Local knowledge is important because there are hidden streams everywhere. Because of the elevation you get an extra 10% of distance off your normal.... More

Rated # 17 nationally and #1 public golf course in Colorado, this is definitely a course worth playing. Greens fees are quite reasonable, as are club rentals with reduced greens fees after 2pm. Panoramic mountain views abound in all directions. The course is well-maintained and there's a pro shop stocked with whatever you need and a restaurant on site. Additionally,... More

A bunch of us play here every Thursday for the Men's league. We're always greeted well at the Pro Shop and they respectfully stay on time with tee times. The course is always kept in good condition for a top notch municipal course. Clean, great staff, and great food and service in the clubhouse. Most of us purchase a Silver... More

What a great experience. The course is run exceptionally well. A great experience from the golf shop personnel, Larry, to golf views on the course. Will be back next trip to Aspen!

Convenient location near Aspen downtown ,however the highlights stop there . It was twice the cost of any public course in the valley. Layout was average and no bag boys to justify the 160.00 green fees . It was easy and the pace of play was less than 4 hrs.The restaraunt was better than the golf great fries and Reuben... More

During a recent trip with my family in which we stopped in Aspen, I was pleased with the approach of the golf club, both in terms of its management of the club, and the friendliness of the staff. In other events in which we participated in Aspen, we found many of the people to be distant and aloof; but not... More

I am not a great golfer, but I always enjoy my rounds at Aspen. I think a lot of people think they can not afford to golf in Aspen and simply pass it bye for other outdoor activities, but The Aspen Golf Course is public, city run and a hidden treasure in my opinion. Don't miss it!

We played 2 couples on this course. It is a little boring except for a few holes who are great and fun. It was in very good shape for a public course and the staff was great. We had a great time and I would play it again.

incredible views and a great course that is walkable. Challenging but not too difficult. Prices aren't too bad considering this is Aspen.
