The Aspen Music Festival does a wonderful job with their students. The opera they presented, La Traviata, was beautiful with lovely voices and great sets and costumes. The full orchestra concert on Friday and Sunday are exceptionally well received.

Beautiful music and atmosphere. Buy tickets or sit outside for free at the Benedict Music tent, surrounded by gorgeous Aspen trees. The musicians are students, but their talent makes this seem to be a professional symphony. Very enjoyable experience. Highly recommend it.

Most cities do not have the kind of programming one can see at the Aspen Music Festival. The level of performance is outstanding and a tribute to the teachers at the school. It is one of the best places to be in the summer.

The Aspen Music Festival finale was The Damnation of Faust. It was superb. The musicians, choral group and soloists were expressive and transforming. We look forward to next season.

Every year, Aspen's music festival, mostly classical, runs for 2 months. Students from around the world attend together with many eminent musicians. Concerts are held during the day (listen in the sun with a picnic) and during the evening across several venues. Wonderful.
