What a fun time on this little gem of a lake fishing for trout and walleye. Kinda of in the middle of the city but once on the lake you kinda forget that with great views of the Rocky Mountains as your back drop.

We visit several times a year and sometimes forget how much traffic it gets on the weekends. Biking is extremely popular there and boating is out of control. Huge boats going in circles in a bathtub. But there are hiking trails and a dog walking...More

Horrible lines on weekends in the summer but the park itself is superb. Dog park is exceptional. Acres and acres of free roaming for our little Pugs!

State does an excellent job in keeping this park in great shape. Has just about everything for a park; camping, boating, fishing, hiking and cycling trails, off-leash dog area, aero field, shooting range, etc.....and easy to get to.

Went to the park with some friends. Walked around and enjoyed the nice paths! It has 14 or 16 miles trail. Camping available and you can rent stand up paddleboards or kayaks right near the marina. I never get bored walking around here!

Fairly crowded on a Sunday--and a 90 degree at that. Great spot for low HP watercraft and sport. Saw kayaks, canoes, paddleboards (carrying dogs), swimmers, sailboats, jetskis . . . . Some beach areas, lots of picnic spots and things for the kids to play...More

As said in the previous answer, no direct views of the lake from the RV sites. The lake is within walking distance and the park itself has many other amenities.
