If you want to kayak Rock Springs Run, the best place to launch from is Kings landing, that's where we launched from and paddled up to Rock Springs. Rock Springs Run is probably one of the most beautiful spring runs in Florida. The water is crystal clear and the vegetation was gorgeous. The water was similar to Juniper at Junipers... More

Great park, large area for relaxing near the water and lot of room to swim. The tubing is great and easy to access. The run is kind of short, but easy to do again and again and great for kids. We saw deer and some fish. No alligators or snakes, but there are signs posted to beware (like every park... More

My wife and I experience an awesome time camping at this park. Two and a half days, snorkeling, tubing, hiking, fishing, and being one with nature.

We kayaked Rock Springs run on a weekday in March--floating on crystalline water over an underwater garden growing on pure white sand, and surrounded by subtropical gardens, both floating and on shore. Words can't describe it. Magical! It bears mentioning that, though other reviewers report crowds, most of the time we had the river to ourselves, on a chilly, but... More

Rock Springs is a wonderful place to spend a leisure day with your family. Swimming, picnic areas and gliding down the run on a tube, it's all available. The water is crystal clear, but cold. Of course on a hot afternoon it can certainly be a welcome relief from the Florida heat. Rocks at the head of the run and... More

Beautiful weather on a peaceful Wednesday afternoon. Hardly anyone here today. The water is amazingly clean and clear. A gentle float was just what we needed. Beautiful area with many picnic spots. Don't miss this when you're in the area.

The run is in Kelly Park and you can rent a tube at a place about half a mile before entrance to park or take your own. Crystal clear refreshing water and a good run though not long which ends in pool area where you can swim. Great for kids. Plenty of room for picnics or just relaxing although it's... More

It is hard for me to believe that this place is within 30 minutes of Orlando. The springhead is one of the prettiest I've ever seen. The run is just beautiful. Do yourself a favor: leave the park and go just up the road to Kings Landing. Rent a canoe and spend the day on the REAL Rock Springs Run,... More
