This 'rails to trails' facility will become the Coast to Coast Trail. It now extends through western Orange County to central Lake County. in Orange County the 'count' is 26,000 people per month. Plenty of Trailhead facilities and it goes thru downtown Winter Garden.

Several stations along the way where you can park your car, go to the restroom, get your bike repaired or rent one if needed. This is one of my favorite bike trails in central florida. "Old Florida" feeling created by the old homes and all the landscapes sights, trees/hanging moss etc..Love it!

We visited Killarney Station and hired bikes for an afternoon, this was an amazing way to experience Florida and I would highly recommend it. The trails are well maintained and going through the city of Winter Gardens was a lovely surprise. We're definitely going to make a second visit during our stay in Florida.

Rent bikes at Bikes and Blades and take a leisurely ride up the trail with your family to Winter Garden, a charming town with plenty of coffee, ice cream, and scenery to make you happy. The trail is safe, wide, partially shady, and mostly flat, making it an easy ride even on hot days. This is a great (and very... More

My wife and I were looking for a paved bicycle trail in Orlando that would afford us a comfortable, safe, semi-shady ride in 87 degree weather. The West Orange Trail fit the bill. We rented our first tandem bike at West Orange Trail Bikes and Blades and off we went towards Winter Garden. The Trail has a few rolling slopes... More

I use this Trail all the time. I feel it is safe. It is a good Trail to walk, jog and ride a bike. You can go a short or long distance. It connects to the Trail in Lake County which makes it nice. The West Orange Trail goes right through downtown Winter Garden so you can eat, shop and... More

My favorite place to exercise. Rent or bring your bicycle. Bike rentals are $7 per hour. The best route for average riders is to start from the Station located next to Hwy 50 in Clermont. Ample parking. Ride relatively level terrain from Oakland/Clermont the roughly 5 miles to Winter Garden Station and return if you're wanting to get a nice... More

A great trail for a family with mixed level of biking experience. Paved, wide, well-marked, and just a touch hilly. Interesting for experienced bikers, but also very doable for beginners including children. The trail traverses a combination of suburban backyards, forests of Spanish moss-covered trees, as well as quaint villages that look like they were built on the back-lot of... More

While staying in Kissimmee we searched for a long, paved and a bit shaded bike trail with restrooms and water at frequent intervals. We finally came across this one, picking it up on at a park with bike shop at 455 W Plant St , Winter Garden, Fla. It was the best we've encountered anywhere. It is 5 miles from... More

I have been here several times. Be prepared to see many critters along the way. You'll bike past a pretty butterfly garden and I've always seen a wandering peacock on the path. Be sure to stop in Winter Garden for a quick lunch or a shot of espresso.
