just a few miles west of I 75 in southern Georgia is this hidden gem. Lots of things to do including a miniature golf course, a great camp store and some of the largest sites in the country and we have been to over 50 government parks. All sites are long my pull through site could park 4 cars and... More

Not a far drive off of I75, decent road and signage good . The park was quiet and the sites were nice size for motorhome with slideouts with easy access. There were two camping loops. The bathrooms were very clean and showers were in excellent condition with benches and doors. There was a small building to rent bikes and get... More

This is one of the nicest state parks we have ever been to. Rose West the Park Manager and her staff in the office are all friendly and very helpful. The volunteers in the camping loops are nice, friendly and do an awesome job of keeping the sites and bath houses spotless. Loop 2 has some of the best showers!!... More

We booked a few nights here on a whim for Labor Day weekend thinking we would spend a couple of days nearby at Wild Adventures theme park. Hurricane Hermine came through on Friday so Wild Adventures was closed Saturday and forced us to spend the day at the campground. That turned out to be awesome. I'll start with the campground.... Really nice park. Clean and well kept. Park staff were a little unfriendly which is very strange for Georgia folks. This is in our backyard and have been here many times boating for the day. Did a weekend camping trying out our new RV. Tons of things to do, or nothing at all. Real gem!!
