We rented a catamaran for the afternoon. They picked us up at our resort and they gave us great service. We went to a couple different snorkeling spots. They guided and told us about all the marine life.

Great food and drink!

I highly recommend them.

We took a morning snorkelling trip to Hol Chan and Shark/Ray Alley and had a fantastic experience with Suya Tours. The booking was quick and easy and the trip itself was great. The 8am departure meant that we were the first boat to arrive at Hol Chan which was nice considering how busy it gets later. Gabi (sorry if I'm misspelling it) was friendly, informative and made sure that everyone was comfortable, safe and enjoyed themselves. I would gladly recommend them to any friends/family who come to the area and are looking to book a tour.

We had a couple of different tours with SUYA TOURS.
Both of our tours were amazing and unique experiences for us all .
First tour was an all day excursion, with three different snorkeling sites, spearfishing, lunch on a private beach. I was able to try my hand at spearing fish and lobster. Lunch was delicious!
Second tour was to the Altan Ha Mayan ruins on the mainland. Boated up the Northern River through the mangroves to Bomba village. Carlos explained each facet of the flora and wildlife. Orchids, snake cactus, air plants in bloom, a couple of crocodiles and lots of birds. Altan Ha was spectacular to see and climb on.
Highly recommend SUYA tours. Carlos is a 4th generation San Pedro fisherman and tour guide who really knows and loves the area.

We had a great all day catamaran tour with Suya! The crew (Gabi, Adolfo, and Facu) took great care of us. Would recommend this trip with Suya to anyone visiting San Pedro. Great mix of activities with snorkeling, shark ray alley and caye caulker.

Catamaran tour to Hol Chan, Shark Ray Alley and Caye Calker. Depart and return from San Pedro. The staff was great, Gabby the captain made sure everyone was comfortable, Aldolfo was very knowledgeable and lead the snorkeling tour at Hol Chan, and Facu served great food and drinks. Definitely a highlight of the trip.

We were in Belize for 10 days. During our stay we had several choices for excursions. We chose Suya Tours a small family owned business. We had the time of our lives. We fished with our guide Ronan, I like fishing so this was the highlight of my trip all the fish we caught was prepared by a local family owned store/restaurant called the Providian it was spectacular. Next stop… my wife’s non negotiable… Snorkeling and swimming with the sharks. Suya Tours provided a guide name Isreal HE WAS AWESOME!!! He knew every species of fish we came in contact with! Dude was the “shiznit”. Highly recommend these guys from the office to the water… TOP NOTCH!

Suya is the all around best tour co on the island and this was our third time there with different company each time. The manager was able to cater to our needs with a mixed family group including two adults, 3 adults 65+, and an infant.

We snorkeled with Israel who is the best guide I've ever had and is hilarious. He is great at showing experienced snorkelers who can free dive things they haven't seen before based on their abilities without making the surface only, less experienced snorkelers feel left out. He showed us two octopi, 2 eels, 7 eagle rays, and countless species of fish with a common name to go with each.Everyone, including the baby went on this trip and we were all well cared for.

Next, we went reef fishing with Roan and Little Joe who are EXCELLENT fishers and teachers. We caught enough fish for dinner for the whole family and much more that we humanely released. They told us every species, what was good to eat and what wasn't, let us feed bait to the frigait birds hanging around, and see the crazy teeth on all the fish. We caught several types of snapper, a couple of grouper, grunts, and even a 30+ lb nurse shark. We tried trawling but while there were tons of bites we weren't good enough. We had a BLAST doing this and to top it off they clean and filet your catch and suggest a great restaurant to cook it. Two adults and one 65+ went on that trip.

Last, we went on a sunset catamaran ride which was sooooo fun, relaxing, even a little romantic. There were net hammock things with comfortable pada and bean bags to sprawl on in the front and a nice table and wraparound seating in the back and another under cover. Israel was our guide on this one too. He basically helped with the sails and made sure we were all comfortable including holding and loving on my baby for an hour so i could enjoy the pictures, suchi, and charcuterie board. She ADORED him. Roan was back as well as our captain. He navigated the strong winds so that we were comfortable and my MIL avoided sea sickness. He even went back and got my dad's hat when it blew off.
Faku was the last of our crew. He did the food and open bar. He is a pro. His drinks taste too good to be safe.

I can't rave enough about this team. They arranged each trip special for us and met every need we had including two very specific food allergies. Love all of them!

We were a family of 6 (minus one who had to stay at the hotel because of an ear infection).
We went snorkelling in Shark Ray alley and Hol Chan and had a very good experience. A few of us had snorkelled here before with other tours years ago and a couple of us hadn’t snorkelled ever before. Our guide was very patient and kind and took care of each of us to make sure we were all feeling good.
Safety was clearly his priority and we appreciated it. He was also very knowledgeable and dove down to show many kinds of coral and point out fish and tell us about them.
It was a wonderful morning for all of us.

We pre booked the Hol Chan/Shark Ray Alley tour with Suya. We had such a great time with Israel we booked a second tour to Mexico Rocks. The snorkeling in Belize is amazing and our guide was great. I don’t swim well and Israel pulled me along with me holding onto a life ring so I could stay with the group. I was able to focus on the fishies I saw and not worry about being the last in the group trying to catch up.
When we decided to book Mexico rocks there is supposed to be a minimum person requirement. I think this was 4. But they took us out anyways as a group of 3. Carlos the owner was great and his daughter Saskia was so helpful with the booking arrangements! They recommended the 8am snorkel tour since it would be the least busy in the reserve. It was a great suggestion. Plus it left us free to enjoy the rest of our day!
