I cannot say enough about this experience! This cave is something you would never see in the States as lawyers would have a field day with liability. You truly feel like you are in another world. It is not easy but totally worth the expense....More

Loved this excursion! You start out walking a mile or so and have to make a few river crossings to get to the mouth of the cave. There were ropes at each of the river crossings to help you along. One of them you have...More

My husband and I booked this tour because it sounded beautiful and exciting. There were two VERY important things we didn’t know when we chose this tour. One, you really truly do need to be in very very good physical shape to stay safe and...More

Luis from Kawiil Tours did a great job; he's been 16 years guiding at ATM and does not rush and is generally prepared for all types of visitors, whatever their level of fitness. It is fascinating to see the way the Mayans used the cave...More

It’s all about who your guide is (we left from Chaa Creek). We were very lucky to have a guide who got us in early, explained the history/geology/fauna and didn’t rush us. On our way back there were guides who were hustling back and loosing...More
