Yes, from San Ignacio it is a long bumpy road but it is do-able. Rent a 4x4 and drive yourself, you can do it! We were here in the wet season so not a lot of water: 1000ft fall not worth the visit. Big rock...More

This would have been a great place to visit before the pine beetles ate all the trees. But there are some great hotels in the area, and wonderful swimming in the rivers.

The road is very poor (after a rain we wondered if we might get stuck in mud in a couple spots) and the scenery is unimpressive. I read a couple reviews comparing it to the southern Appalachians but I think that is too generous. There...More

Just went back through my pictures and found the sign for one of the zip line companies near the ridge - Calico Jack's.
