This was our third cave experience in Belize, this is spelunking. It is a rigorous and physically challenging. Not for small kids or anyone out of shape. But the cave is beautiful and the artifacts are amazing. You are required to have a guide so plan in advance. Plan to take a dip at the blue hole after the cave... More

Loved seeing all the natural beauty of Crystal Cave. Even more exciting to see artifacts from the ancient Mayan people. Barnabie was a great tour guide!

We hiked up to this from Blue Hole National Park. The trail was quite difficult but worth it once you make it here.

Such a unique and educational tour. Very beautiful. We highly recommend going with Marcos and if you can staying at his place the Yaxche Jungle Lodge. He was one of the people that first discovered the cave so you really can't beat his knowledge. There was one other group that got to the entrance at the same time as us... More

Seeing this place on the web is nothing like being there in person. It is beyond beautiful and makes one humble with its grandiose formations and its age (Mayan history). Be warned that the cave is pitch black and you'd have to wear the headlamp provided by the tour guides at all time and be walking in the water 99%... More

Beautiful. Part of the cave tubing options. Well worth the added time and work. It is colder than the rest of the tour. Make sure you take a waterproof camera with flotation device attached.

I experienced this amazing tour, my schedule was pretty tight - with time, but I really wanted to do this. I love caves and am not in shape for a fast hike to this cave but I did it and the time I spent in this cave was AMAZING, the formations and artifacts found were spectacular, it tested my caving... I visited this cave on 2015, and I will definitely recommend as a must to visit in Belize. The cave is big and must be visited with a cave guide, I recommend Marcus from Maya Guide Adventures. He is a caver and also a great guide and person. The cave is demanding fisicaly so you should be in good shape,... More

Not for those with weak knees or ankles. But if you are relatively fit and up for an adventure, it's an awesome experience! Great guided tour with Luis!

Our guide warned us it's a harder cave and that it's not for everybody but it was easier than we thought. There are definitely some parts that are harder than others, but the guides Miguel and José help out as much as they can. A great experience for caving beginners as well as experienced cavers!
