Great items made from recycled material

We found many creative and nice souvenirs here, and enjoyed talking with the staff, who were very friendly. We appreciate finding items "Not made in China" when we are shopping.

To remember our interesting week on Roatan, we bought a handmade mosaic fish from the Rusty Fish in West End, where recyclables are turned into art that you can feel doubly good about.

Stop by and try it out. Coconut shrimp is great as is the service. Seating is outside only but you can go next door to sister restaurant.

Rusty Fish had a lot of fun art and none of it was made in China! From what I saw, it was all made locally.

We visited this vendor in the Roatan Bay port area. Very friendly guys that run the place. They have a lot of neat products made with recycled materials. Jerry and Adam were so friendly!! Great guys.

We popped into this local shop on our day tour. I was looking for something very specific which they did not have. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They had lots of interesting things to purchase, mostly made from recycled items. Very unique, some were a little pricey but they were all handmade.

This shop is so cute and has a lot of recycled items. They are all hand made and local. It is a great spot to find some gifts for those left at home.

I can't tell you how thrilled I was to walk into a shop with locally-handcrafted items. (I'm a bit tired of seeing the same items all over that look like they've been made in China with the name of the location put on.) Finally, a place that is unique supporting local artisans. In the store I found locally made chocolate,... More

This was probably our favorite souvenir shop! I love the fact that my cute metal fish decorations were made from recycled junk!

Found while driving by on an island tour--our driver was happy to stop, and we are so glad that he did. Love the "upcycle" decoration concept. Also have jewelry and sculptures, all local artist made. A lot of things to look at, so plan on spending close to 30-60 minutes. Lovely staff made sure everything we bought was packaged well... More
