Plenty of time with the dolphins, lots of picture taking time, professional trainers were wonderful. Worried that the dolphins are in captivity? Don’t be. My dolphin took off right in the middle of her show. Outcome: we waited until she came back. The picture package...More

Please keep in mind that you need to book at least one week before, to make sure you´ll be able to take this trip. Encounter with the dolphins is absolutely amazing, a life experience and a must in Roatan.

So while I refuse to visit the typical touristy swim with the dolphin attractions because I think they are extremely abusive to the animals this is the only place I have found where I truly believe that the dolphins are happy. They live in a...More

Pros - You get up close and personal in the water with dolphins Cons - Many of the employees seemed to not like their jobs. The trainers seemed ok but everyone else around (guides, boat drivers) were in bad moods. Encounter is tightly controlled so...More

All the safety procedures and the dolphins are free to come and go and they actually stick around. Choose the option the snorkel with the dolphins after petting and kissing them. Our dolphin was pregnant....so special.

We booked the Dolphins and snorkel through carnival. Not sure if they have one the other excursion. It's only a half day excursion so you should be able to do both

I am not sure, but I stayed at Fantasy Island Beach Resort and that was around 45-60 minutes by taxi. And we pass the cruiseships after around 15-20 minutes. So my guess is around 30 minutes :-)
