Great place to visit.

The museum is well done and is very informative. The tour guides are great. You need to have at least an hour and half to walk and see the entire display.

Maybe I was expecting too much. I found the museum just regular. But it is worthy the visit if you are in Tegucigalpa.

Hi. Have you ever been to the MIN? It's a great spot. Entrance fee is not over the sky, the staff is friendly, it's got a coffee shop with a superb coffee selection (from the Honduran highlands), and a gift shop that includes pieces from local artists. Now, the museum... it's the best laid out art venue in Tegucigalpa. The... More

The Museum is located at downtown Tegucigalpa and it is a very nice place to know details about Honduras and general culture as well. They had on Sundays, different Movie shows and during the week different exhibitions about local authors (painters and writers) It is a nice place for an afternoon filled of knowledge.

When looking for a place to get inspiration through art, sculpture and other artistic expression, this is the place to go. The galleries in contrast with the building make a perfect atmosphere to transport you to the different places where the art wants you to go.

There are lots of different rooms with different themes. Historical area and new age modern art included. No minimum group size on the English tour either, me and a buddy showed up at no particular time and we had an English speaking tour guide ready to start as soon as we finished paying!

You can find pretty much everything there is to learn about Honduras' history. The guide was really nice, attentive and explained everything. A must-see.

I was with a group of ten who had completed a church mission trip in the Olancho District and had one day to rest before our return to the USA. The historic building had thoroughly modern exhibits. A guide spoke to a group of about 20 in Spanish, but said he would answer any questions we had in English. A... More

I love museums, I really do, but the permanent exhibition - a history of Honduras from land formation to present day - is almost entirely huge amounts of writing (entirely in Spanish) printed on the walls. There are barely any objects to look at. The history goes on and on, and sort of glorifies the Spanish a lot, without mentioning... More
