We stopped here as it was pretty much en route from Rexburg to our next overnight stop at Gallatin Gateway. It’s an easy 50 minute drive from Rexburg and is accessed via the Scenic Drive. Both the lower and upper Falls are well signposted. We...More

Only 15 or 20 minutes off the main road to Yellowstone park and the road is a loop so you do not have to back track. Bring mosquito spray.

Beautiful scenery. Spectacular views. It is also easy to find from the highway. I just hated to mosquitoes around the area.

We drove the Mesa Falls Scenic Byway on our way up to Yellowstone. It was not crowded at all, and it was gorgeous. The views of the Grand Teton range were spectacular, and we spotted several marmots (including two just lying in the middle of...More

Not as dynamic as Shoshone Falls in Twin Falls, but really nice. Walkways get you right next to the falls and go around the area. Walking can be difficult for the elderly or people with back or leg problems. Not too far off the main...More

Such a great place to visit. It's beautiful and the upper falls has wood steps and walkways right to the falls.

We were tipped off by a local to visit this place- Falls were gorgeous and powerful with spring runoff! There were lots of fun stops like a rail-to-trail trail and another big waterfall on the mesa scenic byway.

This was a highlight on our recent road trip through Wyoming and Idaho. We love viewing water falls and these were very impressive. I'm glad we found them. They were well worth the drive to find them. Before we came, I was reading some of...More

The visitor Centre is only a short walk from the falls, which can be accessed down a wooden stepped walkway. It only takes a couple of minutes. However, there is a charge for parking your car here. If you see my review... More
